Raul Ramirez (1946-2013) was a journalist and executive director of news and public affairs at KQED Public Radio in San Francisco. Previously he worked as a newspaper reporter for the Miami Herald, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Oakland Tribune, and the San Francisco Examiner. He also served as president of the board of directors of the Center for Investigative Reporting and taught journalism at San Francisco State University and the University of California, Berkeley.
